Crochet Heart Patterns
Falling in love with crochet hearts? Pick your crochet heart pattern and sprinkle love into your creations.

You are here because you love crochet. And if you love crochet, you also love to create some loving heart shaped magic with your yarn. Yes, crochet is no less than magic. One long, long strand of yarn gets tangled multiple times to emerge as something beautiful and elegant, mostly. I know, sometimes the tangles are really troublesome but let’s tackle those on some other day.
Get your hooks and yarn ready. Pick the pattern that catches your eye and start hooking away. Honestly, all may be tempting but go one at a time. And if these are not enough, you can head over to my Pinterest Crochet Hearts board for more inspiration. While you are there, you can check out the other boards as well.
Oh yes, and did I mention that all these patterns were saved before AI emerged on the scene, so relax as these are AI-free patterns.
Granny Hearts Crochet by Let’s Crochet

As the name says, granny stitches make this heart. Just follow the instructions carefully, the increases and decreases, and see the heart take shape. I customised it a bit to make smaller sized hearts to make a set of coasters.
Crochet Hearts by Hooked on Patterns

Simple single crochets stitches throughout giving it a compact and neat shape. Use a slightly thicker yarn to get a well-shaped, firm looking heart that serves as a perfect sitting place for your cups. The middle section can be a bit tricky — count the stitches accurately to get a clean shape.
The Lovebomb Coaster by Queen Babs

This is one that had me baffled for some time. Had been looking for the pattern but could not locate it. Found it on Raverly. Sorry, cannot give the link to the pattern here as it is a paid pattern. Have included a link to the Ravelry page from where it can be purchased. Absolutely worth it.
Crochet Heart Pattern by Atty*s

This one begins with a circle and with a combination of stitches takes the shape of a heart. While the original pattern is in solid colours, use your imagination and create it in a combination of colours, like my evil eye hearts here.
Lacy Heart by could not find

This one is a dainty looking pattern — lacy and delicate. I did manage to trace the website that hosts it but could not get the name of creator. Have included the pattern diagram here that is widely available on Pinterest.

Crochet Heart Coaster by GorbunovaDolls

It starts with a square then two sides of it a given the heart curves. Very simple pattern and easy to replicate. I personally like this one for a coaster as the square shape proves to be very stable for a cup resting on it.
Will continue to update as and when I come across some more patterns.
